The terms and conditions contained in this Agreement apply to your participation with affiliates.cupid.com ("Affiliate Program"). Each Affiliate Program offer (an "Offer") may be for any offering by Cupid plc Affiliate Network or a third party (each such third party a "Client") and may link to a specific web site for that particular Offer ("Program Web Site"). Furthermore, each Offer may have additional terms and conditions on pages within the Affiliate Program and are incorporated as part of this Agreement. By submitting an application or participating in an Offer, you expressly consent to all the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

Enrollment in the Affiliate Program

You must submit an Affiliate Program application from our website. You must accurately complete the application to become an affiliate (and provide us with future updates) and not use any aliases or other means to mask your true identity or contact information.

Obligations of the Parties

Subject to our acceptance of you as an affiliate and your continued compliance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement, Cupid plc Affiliate Network agrees as follows:

We will make available to you via the Affiliate Program graphic and textual links to the Program Web Site and/or other creative materials (collectively, the "Links") which you may display on web sites owned or controlled by you, in emails sent by you and clearly identified as coming from you and in online advertisements (collectively, "Media"). The Links will serve to identify you as a member of our Affiliate Program and will establish a link from your Media to the Program Web Site.

We will pay Affiliate for each Qualified Action (the "Commission"). A "Qualified Action" means an individual person who (i) accesses the Program Web Site via the Link, where the Link is the last link to the Program Web Site, (ii) is not a computer generated user, such as a robot, spider, computer script or other automated, artificial or fraudulent method to appear like an individual, real live person, (iii) is not using pre-populated fields (iv) completes all of the information required for such action within the time period allowed by Cupid plc Affiliate Network and (v) is not later determined by Cupid plc Affiliate Network to be fraudulent, incomplete, unqualified or a duplicate.

Accounts with a balance of less than $50 will roll over to the next month, and will continue to roll over monthly until $50 is reached. We reserve the right to charge back to your account any previously paid Qualified Actions that are later determined to have not met the requirements to be a Qualified Action.Affiliates are independent contractors and the relationship between the Company and the Affiliate is not one of employment relationship. The Affiliate is solely responsible for any taxes or social security costs due as a result of any payments received from the Company.

Payment for Commissions is dependent upon Clients providing such funds to Cupid plc Affiliate Network, and therefore, you agree that Cupid plc Affiliate Network shall only be liable to you for Commissions to the extent that Cupid plc Affiliate Network has received such funds from the Clients. You hereby release Cupid plc Affiliate Network from any claim for Commissions if Cupid plc Affiliate Network has not received such funds from the Clients.

Cupid plc Affiliate Network shall automatically generate an invoice on behalf of Affiliate for all Commissions payable under this Agreement and shall remit payment to Affiliate based upon that invoice. All tracking of Links and determinations of Qualified Actions and Commissions shall be made by Cupid plc Affiliate Network in its sole discretion. In the event that Affiliate disputes in good faith any portion of an invoice, Affiliate must submit that dispute to Cupid plc Affiliate Network in writing and in sufficient detail within thirty (30) days of the date on the invoice. If Affiliate does not dispute the invoice as set forth herein, then Affiliate agrees that it irrevocably waives any claims based upon that invoice. In the event that Affiliate is also tracking Qualified Actions and Affiliate claims a discrepancy, Affiliate must provide Cupid plc Affiliate Network with Affiliate's reports within three (3) days after 30th day of the calendar month, and if Cupid plc Affiliate Network's and Affiliate's reported statistics vary by more than 10% and Cupid plc Affiliate Network reasonably determines that Affiliate has used generally accepted industry methods to track Qualified Actions, then Cupid plc Affiliate Network and Affiliate agree to make a good faith effort to arrive at a reconciliation. If the parties are unable to arrive at a reconciliation, then Cupid plc Affiliate Network's numbers shall govern.

If Affiliate has an outstanding balance due to Cupid plc Affiliate Network under this Agreement or any other agreement between the Affiliate and Cupid plc Affiliate Network, whether or not related to the Affiliate Program, Affiliate agrees that Cupid plc Affiliate Network may offset any such amounts due to Cupid plc Affiliate Network from amounts payable to Affiliate under this Agreement.

4. Example of Nuffnang Earnings

Metered Earnings VS Campaigns Earnings

Example of Metered Earning
As I mentioned earlier, bloggers get paid by getting their ads published. But, there are in fact 2 types of ads that will be run.

1. METERED EARNING - Ads are published for a certain period, and bloggers gain revenue by getting sufficient traffic, and CTR.

What is CTR: To reward blogs for good campaign performance, Nuffnang will now be giving out bonus earnings for blogs that achieve a CTR (Click-through ratio) of 0.2% or higher on new campaigns that run on their blog. This figure is based on average industry standards.

2. CAMPAIGNS EARNINGS - Ads are published with certain amount of fees, and will be run for a short period, and bloggers get paid for the fixed fees.

Campaigns Earnings

Example of Campaigns Earnings. All Nuffnang earnings will be sent via Nuffnang Cheque.

I like this the most! :)

Here is the exciting part. When your earnings reaches RM50 or more, the button 'Cash Out' will appear below your total earnings. Clicking the cash out button will bring you to a screen to confirm your home/office address, which the cheque will be sent to. (Refer to pic below)
Make sure the payee name, address is correct to ensure the cheque reaches you safe and sound.

6. TIPS and TRICKS about Nuffnang

Optimizing your earnings

If you are into online advertising, there are tons of tips and tricks online out there on how to maximize your earnings. BUT, how many can we afford to follow? and how many of us will spend money to buy some Ebooks to learn how to improve your blogs traffic and earnings?

Rules of Thumb

Having said that, there are few Rules of Thumb which every bloggers should try to achieve to have a average earnings.

1. The utmost important thing of a blog or a website is always the CONTENT.

There is nothing can beat this. If you have a interesting and attractive blogs, stories, information, updates, software, share it with others. The point is try to share some current issues, may it be in your own country or international news. Please, do not plagiarize, or copy and paste your content from other sites. This will mark your site on very low search engine as your blogs are labeled as "rubbish".

2. Getting sufficient NEW and RETURNING visitors

Yes, your blogs get hits from people around the world everyday, you may reach daily hits of 1000 if you use certain blog rotation sites. BUT, how many of them will stay, and will return to visit your blog again? Few good ways is by building your friends network, can be through Google Friends Connect, Blog Followers, Feed etc. Some people even create their very own Facebook Fan page for their site, in which people will linked to your blogs in some ways.

3. Making your ads NATURAL and COMFORTABLE

Some readers are very 'allergic' to ads, If they think your blogs is full of ads, and have little content, then your blogs is just another blogs who want to earn quick money. People read blogs from people with great passion and interest about blogging. The colours you used for your blog template, ads, also play a very important role. This can help in achieving your CTR, to gain you some extra earnings.

4. DO NOT ASK PEOPLE TO CLICK YOUR ADS

This is a very serious offense, in all online advertising company. May it be a direct offer, such as in Chatbox, or putting a note asking people to click your ads. This is definitely no no, and the ads serve no purpose if everyone clicks the ads because they want to 'help' each other. Your account will get banned and you will lose whatever you have earned. Please DO NOT try this.

5. Building PAGE RANK and EXPANDING your Blogs/Website

No man is an island. DO NOT be a solo hero, or heroine, trying to run your blogs alone. You need help from others to promote your blog, or building your blogs' Page Rank (PR) to gain sufficient weight in search engine. If you visited someone's blog, and it is worth commenting, leave them a good and genuine comment. NO SPAM please. Giving comment in return will link your site to their blog when you put your URL. Based on this so called back links, Google will determine how heavy is your site and how should they rank your site. Higher ranking means higher chance of getting top list in search engine.

6. Target Malaysia/Singapore Traffic

This is obvious that most of the advertisers are from local companies, such as Nestle, DiGi, Maxis, Celcom etc. Thus, in order to attract advertisers, you will need to have good local traffic, depending on your location, may it be Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, or elsewhere. REMEMBER, if you do not have good local traffic, opt for something else, Adsense might do you better if you have lots of traffic from United States, UK etc.

7. INVESTMENT

This is about some one who has serious interest in blogging and thinks blogging can gain real income. You can always buy a domain, with your own name of course, rather than using *.blogspot, or *.wordpress etc. Showing other people your site such as www.yoursite.com, shows that you are serious about blogging, and your information is reliable. Any Ali, Abu or Ah Meng can get a *.blogspot and start blogging and earning, BUT not everyone can have their own domains.
Example of available domains in Malaysia:

Hi all users, in our previous post "adf.ly bot 2012" we have provide a bot that automatically clicks on your links and by reading it's review we have found that many user wants to increase their adf.ly link's views so we have decided to make a tutorial on how to amazingly increase your adf.ly link's view and we are sure that this will very helpful for you. So lets get started :

What is adf.ly?

It is a website where you get paid every time someone clicks on a link of yours. Depending on where you get your traffic from, you will get paid about $2 for 1000 clicks.

I know what you’re thinking. That’s horrible right? $0.002 for a single click? But that’s actually pretty decent compared to the other sites that get you about $0.30 per 1000. It is much better than Linkbucks, Linkbee, or any other competition.

Firs of all If you haven’t already signed up, go to :

www.adf.ly

And signup an account.

To get a huge amount of clicks on adf.ly is pretty simple. Just go viral! I’ll give you an example. Sometime around June, there was a video going around on news websites of “K-Strass the Yo-Yo master”. It had quite a significant amount of mention on the news. So I thought, why not upload this video to YouTube and get some hits. Unluckily, I was late and the video had already been uploaded by someone else.

His video was up for 3 days, and had already gotten over 67 000 000 views!!! If only 20% the people visited an adf.ly link, that would still be $40 000 in 3 days. However, the person who uploaded the video did not seem to monetize the video at all, making no money...

Now that guy was stupid. YOU can be different and make the $200 000 he never did. Here’s how

STEP 1:

Get prepared. What you need is a program to download videos off websites such as “Download Helper”. You should also get a Free Screen Recorder, such as :

www.zdsoft.com

Also, register accounts on YouTube, Digg, StumbleUpon and i-am-bored.

STEP 2:

Start lurking around on US Breaking news websites, such as www.CNN.com,www.foxnews.com and www.cbsnews.com . You have to be very patient and wait around, until you find a good video with viral potential.

Examples of videos that are guaranteed to go viral- Ghost Videos (Michael Jackson’s ghost) Live TV stuff-ups (People swearing live on air, Celebrities hitting paparazzi, “Wardrobe malfunctions” ).

So just wait around until a video like this pops up on one of the news websites. It may take a while to find a good lead, you may have to wait several days. Bookmark the “Breaking News” sites and check back occasionally.

Just wait..........................................................
And wait....................................................

STEP 3:

Got your video? Now it is time to act FAST. Try downloading the video using “Download Helper”. If it doesn’t work, what you have to do is record the video with your screen recorder. (Make sure the volume is right if you are recording).

Now upload the video onto YouTube. Make sure you have a good title, description and tags.

STEP 4

Submit your video to Digg, StumbleUpon and i-am-bored.

STEP 5

Take a break. You don’t need to do anything for the next few hours.

STEP 6

Now, check back on your video. If everything is working well as planned, you should have a few thousand views. If not, try and submit to more websites similar to www.i-am-bored.com .
STEP 7

Wait a few more hours.STEP 8

You should be getting thousands and thousands of hits by now. Links to your video should already be posted on Digg, StumbleUpon, and www.i-am-bored.com . You should be getting a steady flow of a few hundred views a minute now. So now it is time to monetize your video.

STEP 9

Find out what it is you want to link to. For example, a news story, Facebook group or anything related to your video. For this example, I will just choose a news article.

STEP 10

Create an adf.ly link and mask it with www.joynic.com . Masking the URL is VERY important.

Rename your URL to something like www.truthaboutmichaeljacksonsghost.us or whatever.

STEP 11

Now, create an annotation all through the video. To do this, click on “Edit Video” and click “annotations”. Place the annotation at the bottom of the video.

An example of an annotation would be -

Is Michael Jackson really dead? See the shocking new proof at the link in the description!!!!

Sadly, a lot of people don’t seem to click the links in the description. If only 50% of video viewers click the link, you should still be happy!
STEP 12

As with all viral videos, your one will only be popular for a few days. When all the hype dies down, and you are not getting enough money from adf.ly , it is time to monetize it with and CPALead. So sign up at www.cpalead.com .

What are these sites? With LoudMo and CPALead, you get paid around $1 every time someone accesses your site. But before they can access they have to install a small program and complete a short, free to take survey.

A lot of people won’t be able to access your site but you will still get some diehard fans wanting to access whatever you link to.

So, go to www.blogger.com and make a site. Put your content on the page and put a CPALead gateway on.
That’s All! Remember, no one got rich reading guides! Don’t be lazy and follow my instructions!

Enjoy.......

The timing is very short and thus majority of the people using this service don’t mind the wait in return for using the system.

  3. Despite the low prices there is some conversion

What's a URL shorteners?

URL shorteners can be used to shorten long URLs (please also note that you may shorten virtually any URL you want to, the URL does not have to be long!).
So for example if you have a somewhat long URL like:

http://example.com/thisisanexamaple/page1/thisisanexample/page2/thisisanexample/page3/thisisanexample/page4(which has 107 characters)

You can use an online URL shortener to shorten your link to something like:
http://adf.ly/as34 (which has only 18 characters)
or...
http://bit.ly/bts345 (which has only 20 characters)
Both Adfly and Bitly, are free to use. They both offer Google Analytics integration and on-site performance monitoring. However, the major difference between Adfly and Bitly, is that Adfly shortened URLs make you money. That is, every time someone clicks your Adfly shortened URL, you will make money. Advantageously, Adfly links are shorter than Bitly links, this is because Bitly is fast becoming an overpopulated service. I myself have used both Adfly and Bitly, and have found them both to be reliable services, although I prefrer Adfly because of the money making opportunity it presents. So how much money can you can you make with Adfly? It's a good question. The amount of money you can make with your Adfly links depends on where the people who click your Adfly links are located.

How much money can I make?

The average rate of pay is $4.00 per thousand clicks. $4.00 may sound small, but just think for a second. How many people use Facebook? Over 500 million people use Facebook on a daily basis. If you could get even a small portion of Facebook users to click on your links, you could be earning a tidy amount of money. A great way to attract lots of users to click on your links is to set up a Facebook group. Many of these groups have more than a million users - so if you get your thinking cap on, you can make good money very quickly!!!. You can also make more money by making videos and post them to Youtube and leave a link in the description.

Adf.ly accounts

Adfly has an easy to reach payment threshold, so once you have earned $5.00 on your Adfly account, your earnings wlll automatically be paid into your PayPal or AlertPay account. If you don't have a Paypal or AlertPay account don't despair, they're both free to join and simple to use.

Nine Steps to ERP Implementation Success

steps to successful erp implementationSteps to success! It’s a concept we all know and love. In fact, a quick Google search revealed a cornucopia of 9-step processes to help folks accomplish all sorts of positive things such as: achieve flow and happiness at work, end chronic worrying, grow a lush lawn, be an effective parent, and begin hot composting.
But for our purposes,  let’s take a look at the nine steps to ERP implementation success. Perhaps if you nail this one, you’ll be happier at work, worry less, and have more time to pamper your lawn, invest in your kids, and finally start hot composting. I know it’s aggressive, but let’s aim high!
Note: In this article, we’re focused on ways that you can work toward ERP implementation success. Assumed in each step is that you’re working with a capable and trusted consultant, who is working closely with you to help you achieve your goals.
  1. Needs Assessment – The first step is to thoroughly evaluate and document your business challenges, workflows, departmental needs, and overall reporting requirements. Once the documentation is complete, spend the time to prioritize or rank your findings. While any good consultant will do their own detailed needs assessment as a part of the sales process, your efforts up front will enable their efforts to be more focused, efficient, and helpful for all involved.
  2. Evaluation and Selection – When you’re ready to begin evaluating your options, I think it’s wise to first ask industry colleagues or a trusted business advisor for their experience and recommendations. The honest feedback you’ll receive will be invaluable. The Internet is also a valuable tool, but don’t get overwhelmed with the 3.4 million hits Google returns on “ERP software.” Select a manageable list of consulting firms with whom to meet and walk through the sales process.  Before making a final selection, check multiple client references that can speak to measurable project success.
  3. Project Management – Once an application is selected, it’s imperative (i.e. a necessity, requirement, obligation, must, etc.!) for you to select and equip an internal project manager. This individual will be the “owner” of the project plan, the primary point of contact for the consulting group, and the watchdog to help ensure project scope, budget, and timeframe remain aligned with overall goals. For all the wonderful things a consultant project manager will do (and they are equally as critical to project success), an internal project manager is an absolute requirement. Plan accordingly.
  4. Implementation – Once you’ve completed steps 1 – 3, you have a solid foundation and plan to install, configure, and optimize the system for your working environment. While project plans can change, keep in mind that scope, timeframe, and budget all must be considered before making any major changes.
  5. Business Process Re-Engineering – One of the tremendous benefits of an ERP implementation project is that it represents an opportunity to make necessary process or workflow changes. While change is usually hard, keep the big picture in mind and embrace changes that can help you achieve breakthrough improvements.
  6. Systems Integration and Custom Development – One of the ways that laborious and money-wasting processes get re-engineered is with system integration or custom development. Integration with another application or data source or customizing the software to meet your unique needs can often dramatically increase efficiency and automation. As in all parts of the implementation, the cost to do so must be weighed with the benefit you’ll receive. You’ll also need to consider what type of impact any custom development will have on your ability to upgrade the application in the future.
  7. Training and Education – Once the system is configured and new processes designed, donot skimp on training. Invest in one-on-one or group training to enable your employees to use the system to its full potential. And don’t stop training once the system is live. Schedule regular training to make sure that all employees are using the software in the most beneficial and efficient manner.
  8. Ongoing Support – After the system is up and running, remember that the effort to complete success is not done. Let the proverbial dust settle as end-users adjust, but maintain a list of additional projects to complete. Retain close communication with your consultant to make sure you’re getting optimum value from the system and operating at peak efficiency.
  9. System Enhancement – Recognize that your system will only be as good as the investment you continue to make in it. I recommend a system review (sort of like a physical at the doctor’s office) at least once a year to identify areas for potential improvement through a version upgrade, new modules, more efficient processes, or additional user training. A commitment to this process will enable you to maximize your existing investment while extending your capabilities to help you achieve even greater success.
Concluding ThoughtsERP implementation success is not a pipe-dream. It can and does happen. What’s most important is a mindset and commitment to maximize your ERP software investment. This type of thinking begins well before you purchase the software and extends throughout the life of the application.

How to Set Up an Affiliate Program on a New Blog or Website

Pay-per-click advertising through services like Google Adsense can make your blog profitable, but it usually isn’t the most efficient way to bring in money from a blog. The problem with pay-per-click is that the payout for each click is simply too low. The advertisement you show may be for a product which cost hundreds or thousands to purchase, but you’ll often end up receiving less than a dollar for one click.

Setting up an affiliate program can provide a large boost in revenue. Affiliate programs pay when someone you referred actually make a purchase, and you receive a set amount or a percentage as compensation. This can add up to a large amount of income. ProBlogger’s Darren Rowse, for example, lists affiliate income as his number two income source, just slightly behind Adsense.
At first glance, setting up an affiliate program can be difficult. However, it really isn’t as hard as it seems, and the rewards can be great. So, what are you waiting for? Let’s get started.

Step 1 – Find an Affiliate

Affiliate programs are very profitable, but there are many smaller blogs which don’t use them. Why? Because affiliate programs are a bit harder to find and use than pay-per-click ads. Adsense is incredibly visible and simple to use – all you have to do is copy-and-paste some code into your website. To reap affiliate income, however, you have to find an affiliate, and there is no single, dominate go-to source.

There are several popular websites which make it easy to find affiliates. These match-making websites allow bloggers to sign up and search a database of businesses looking for blogs to become affiliates. The range of products and services offered through affiliate programs is broad. This is a good thing, because it makes it easy to find someone whose product fits your blog’s theme. Becoming an affiliate for someone who is selling fitness advice doesn’t make much sense if your blog is about airplanes.
how to set up affiliate program
Some of the best websites for finding an affiliate program include:
  • Amazon Associates – Amazon.com offers an easy, flexible affiliate program. You can link to any of their products and earn a percentage (usually 4 to 6%) of each item sold.
  • Affiliate Scout – This huge database lists hundreds of affiliate programs which you can sign up with at any time. You’ll probably find a suitable affiliate program here no matter your blog’s topic.
  • Commission Junction – Commission Junction manages affiliate programs for some of the largest companies online today. This includes websites like Buy.com and Newegg.

Step 2 – Set Up the Affiliate Links

Affiliate programs work on a very simple principle. You place links and/or information about a product or service on your blog or website. In return, you receive a commission whenever a person purchases a product or service by clicking through your links.
While the manner in which you earn income is different – you’re paid on commission rather than per click – making money from an affiliate program is also ultimately subject to the almighty click. If no one clicks on your affiliate links there is a 0% chance than anyone will buy the product or service you’re advertising through them. It is up to you, then, to set up the affiliate links and make them attractive.
how to set up affiliate program
This can be done simply by placing links on your website just like you would a normal pay-per-click ad. Chances are that if you have high traffic someone will, eventually click and buy. To be truly effective, however, you need to do a little advertising. The most effective way to do this is through recommendations.
For example, let’s say that you know about computers. You also know that a lot of people are searching for information on how to repair computers. In order to set up your affiliate links, you might write about the top three PC repair books currently available and then link to PC repair e-books with affiliate programs. This is just one example – any sort of recommendation will greatly increase the chances that someone will actually purchase through the affiliate program you are a part of. There are some bloggers who set up entire blogs focused on recommending a single product. While this appears cheesy, it can bring in a lot of money if you are proficient at writing advertising copy and you know how to do keyword research.

Step 3 – Enjoying and Growing the Rewards

Most affiliate programs pay on a monthly schedule. Large programs, like the one through Amazon.com, will be able to make direct deposits to your bank account or send you a check. Small programs, like those which are operated by a single person selling an e-book, will usually only pay through Paypal. Be sure to confirm that the affiliate program you are entering can pay to your location, as many smaller affiliate programs have difficulty paying affiliates in foreign countries.

The sky is the limit with affiliate programs. Once you’ve figured out how to write a convincing recommendation which brings in customers to the affiliate program you can repeat the formula for numerous products on numerous blogs and websites. Those who bring in major money off affiliate marketing usually do so with a legion of blogs dedicated to different topics.
With that said, affiliate marketing isn’t for everyone. Simply signing up as an affiliate with a few affiliate programs will be enough for many bloggers, and it will also be enough to boost your income.
